History
ATA was founded in 1963 and has been providing recruitment services for over forty years. The business initially specialised in providing human resource solutions into the Engineering and Sales markets.
Following a management buy-out in 1992 the Company delivered consecutive growth of 60% year on year for a period of six years. This promoted ATA onto the Virgin/Sunday Times 100 fastest growing independent company’s list in 1997.
In 1998 the Group floated on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange, and since that time has grown through acquisition and organic development and now provides Assessment, Recruitment, Development, Training and Conferencing to a broad range of industries.
The Group employs over three hundred staff and turnover in 2006 was £22million.
Since floatation the Group has acquired Catalis Ltd and Ganymede Solutions Ltd, and the organically created The Derby Conference Centre. Further acquisitions will consolidate this growth strategy in the human resource services area. The Group is based at varying locations UK wide which facilitate the provision of nationally combined solutions.
